5.) If you're gay, it's easier to tell (which is just polite these days). If you're straight, people think you have cancer (hopefully you don't and you probably shouldn't play this one up).
4.) You can get into most Buddhist retreats - FOR FREE!
3.) You don't HAVE to wash your hair. You still should, though.
2.) If you must pull the crazy card it's going to be much more convincing for your arguement.
And the number one reason to shave your head.....
1.) Sinead O'Connor gets stronger with every reference made about her (you will get A LOT of those).

My New Home
After almost a month at wordpress I decided to relocate thanks to the suggestions of my life mate. He made so many great points to switch to blogger that I couldn't resist. He and his pals have their own comedy blog - oneyearintexas.com - through blogger and I had written for them a few times so I was assured it was the right choice.
I feel the fair thing to do is reminisce about the great times I had blogging at wordpress and offer an explination. It's not personal. Nothing's personal anymore. It's all business. Always. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
The first day I chose wordpress I admit, it was love at first sight. Wordpress. My brain made me smell newspaper ink and hear the clang and churn of the newspaper factory I don't ever remember visiting. I'm not one to usually believe in past lives but this got me. This really got me. I believed I had once been a male working in a time when only males were allowed to work and women sat in offices much like the one I'm typing in now. I clicked on the blue link from google and a whole empty world waiting for my thoughts opened before me.
I played around a little. A tap here, a quizzical choice there. I toyed with wordpress and it toyed right back. That's how I like it. When we finally decided to become one it was almost magical. It was as though a mind safe of pointless blather that I KNEW was important began to flow from me and wordpress caught it all. Checking spelling and making suggestions along the way. It was pretty intense.
A week went by and things were going great. Amazing really. Then came the voice of reason from my real-life love. I know it looks good, but in the end it will do you wrong.Blogger. Blogger....
I knew he was right but I denied it. I kept seeing wordpress and laughing out loud but really just masking my doubt. Each visit seemed more and more forced and I think wordpress knew it was coming but neither of us talked about it.
Then today I decided to cut the cord. Cold turkey. It'd been 2 or 3 great weeks but to keep it going further was a lie. Wordpress didn't even see it coming. No word......press stop. I posted my last blog on it and then closed the door - and left the spare key under the mat.
So wordpress, if you're reading this, I am sorry. I am not one for goodbyes. I don't believe in dragging things out. I cut and leave. That's how I am, baby. Save your empty pages for someone worthy of your devotion, for it is not me.
Until next time...
